H&M are still making collaborations with highly regarded designers in a ploy to make all of us rush to their stores and buy, buy, buy!
While I think it is a genius idea and it usually has worked (Viktor & Rolf, Sonia Rykiel anybody?), I am not feeling a tingle in my fingers from these newly released shots of the new Lanvin collection, which will be released in November.
While the images are wonderful and take me away on a secret mission to a luxurious hotel, in order to handle a romantic top secret mission to bed handsome men that are into ruffled designer dresses, I simply do not find myself as excited as I thought I would be.
I'm hoping that the next few preview shots released will make me more excited.
Over to you, what do you think?

I hate oversleeping. I hardly ever do, as I hate being that person that rushes in late, clutching all their belongings, their makeup not on and their shirt buttoned up wrong. If I do oversleep I don't believe in taking my time getting ready either, as I find it more important getting in sooner rather than later rather than looking like a million dollars. I will instead skip breakfast, do my makeup in the (boyfriend's) car/bus/taxi and spend the remaining of the day regretting my choice of outfit.
Today the unthinkable happened and I overslept! I hear Karl receiving a textmessage and I struggle to find his phone in the dark. I not only notice that he has received a promotional spam text message from his mobile phone operator but that it's 7.36 AM, and I should have been at work 36 minutes ago!
My boyfriend is on the late shift this week and starts at 10.00 AM so he was able to drive me in. Arriving 71 minutes late with hair and make up looking decent, I had still managed to pair my floral silk skirt and denim biker blazer with a stained white top. I'm also hungry as I was in too big of a hurry to grab food and it's resulting in me becoming cranky and I'm pretty sure the developing head ache is a side effect of this as well.

It isn't just Lindsay Lohan that has been featured a lot in the media lately, her younger sister Ali has also had her fare share of attention. While I feel sorry for Lindsay and the personal struggles with alcohol and drugs she is faced with, I am hoping that if Ali is spared the same rough road.
The latest attention brought on to the younger Lohan sister comes from the pictures shot for the new 6126 Spring/Summer 2011 collection that the Lohans are releasing.
While I find first image incredibly cute and Ali looking absolutely stunning, some of the images are a bit... inappropriate and just a tad cheap (vacuum marks on the carpet much?). I know that there have been younger models (she's 16) posing for far racier shots, but knowing that Dinah, their mother, usually hovers in the background, I am asking myself if I would let my underage daughter pose in a see-through jumper with her underwear on display, whilst wearing high heels and standing on her knees? Surely there were classier ways of styling this photoshoot, or is this the kind of look that they want the target audience to strive for?

What do you guys think of the images?
